ATHENS:AM EXTENDED|
Athens City Festival 26 - Metacosmoi, Athens
May 5, 2026
Athens City Festival 2026 presents from May 5 to 20, the multimedia exhibition ATHENS:AM Extended offers us a different mapping of Athens at night. “ATHENS:AM Extended” marks the evolution of the photographic project “ATHENS:AM” by photographer Thanasis Karatzas in collaboration with the director and creator of multimedia experiences Viron Nikolopoulos. The core of the project is based on 88 black and white photographs, a fascinating collection of images from the period 2008–2022, which capture the intangible poetry of Athens and the peculiar sociability that develops in its evenings.
